Transcend's Cover Has Been Nominated!

The Houston Bay Area chapter of RWA (Romance Writer's of America) is holding their very first Reader's Choice open rating! Reader judging will start February 1, 2013 and end on February 10, 2013. And, one of my cover designs, Christine Fonseca's TRANSCEND is up for nomination in the young adult catagory! Votes would be hugely appreciated and rewarded with virtual chocolate. ;) Go here and click on the Young Adult catagory to vote. Here is a bit about the competition:

The Reader's Choice winners will be published on our Houston Bay Area's RWA website. (The formal awards for each category will be based on the results of our official bookseller judges and the First Place entries will be published in our RWR ad in April.)

You'll see the entries exactly as the bookseller judges do, and can rate any or all of the categories as you like.

Rating each category will take roughly 10-15 minutes. We'll tell you how many covers are in each category before you begin.

You'll have a chance to change the rating of any cover before you commit your ratings.

Once you've committed your ratings, you can't go back and start over or change the scores you've given.

You can rate covers only once.

The ratings from all of the readers will be compiled to determine the winner of each category.

All winners, from both the JABBIC judges and the Reader's Choice, will be published on the HBA website on February 10, 2013.
